After watching a documentary on the making of Paul Simon's "Graceland" at the weekend, I thought I'd give this a go. I bought it a couple of years ago, but never got round to playing it.
She joined Paul Simon for his Graceland tour, along with Ladysmith Black Mambazo and Hugh Masekela. It caused a lot of upset with Artists Against Apartheid and the ANC, as did the making of the album, due to the UN-approved cultural boycott in force at the time.
The documentary is called "Under African Skies", showing on Sky Arts. Worth a watch.
