Nice. It seems that the 1000 is the first piece of B&O that Jacob Jensen did any work on. I have fired it up and there were no sparks, and no smoke so that must be a good sign! I will get aroung to attatching some old mission speakers I have just to try it. Strangely, it has inputs for two turntables.

Steve,
That's nice - a good gift. Quite a big sounding 15 watts, I think.
If you can't find a knob end, would a bell end do? ...........I'm sure we've got one of those at the Art of Sound!!

Haha Chris, I dare say there are lots of bell ends on the internet, I have yet to see any on here, other than the late soundhaspriority of course! I really like the design of it and I have always liked the look of B&O gear but never really heard it. I think it is a little overpriced too for what it is but then there is plenty of spare cash floating about in the market segment they aim for.

I thought Hamish was the 'bell-end boy', a title bestowed upon him by the members on another place! (careful with my choice of words there!).
Yes, well I've heard it described as 'Bang and Awfulson' but only by people who haven't actually heard any of it. You're right about the price thing, but the secondhand market can be a great leveller.
nah ive progressed to bodger since i keep breaking stuff.... get with the times chris
