Just to add, HDMI 2.0 is still pretty new (2013 I think) and not found al all devices. However, even HDMI 1.4 introduced nearly 10 years ago will support 4k (and higher resolutions) though admittedly only @30 fps at 4k.Originally Posted by WAD62

And yes I have grasped the concept of the 'TV' end of the cable...
