Hi all,

my name is Hardy and I'm a music lover and an audio DIY guy from Germany.
I've realised a few speaker projects, but since about 17 years I'm reworking from time to time my latest DIY big 3-way D'Appolito speaker (based on SEAS chassis) x-over network.

Recently I've converted it all to an active setup, based on the Najda boxed DSP and a Rotel RMB-1506 6-channel amp.
As I wasn't happy with the out of the box sound of this setup, I've started to experiment with different opamps in the Najda DSP.

I'm very curious to hear about your experiences with going active and especially with the Najda DSP and recommendations for opamps or other sound tuning ideas.

Opamps I've tested so far:
- LM833 (original Najda ingredient) -> didn't convince me at all
- LM4562 -> better, but still doesn't fulfil my expectations
- AD8066 -> (currently waiting for the opamp delivery. I've read a lot of positive things about the AD8066) to be checked
- your recommendation?

Cheers,
Hardy
