The usual way of doing that is to 'hide' those areas.

They are hidden, so you can't be accessing them. Which section of the forum exactly are you unsuccessfully trying to access?

I suspect it's the 'Curator's Arms' (reserved for those authorised to discuss material relating to 'The Knowledge'). It does say underneath: "Private Forum for discussions pertaining to The Knowledge."

Any other area of the forum, visible to you, should be accessible.
