I really honestly do not think that embedding the Bearing in marine resin is going to improve the sonics by any measurable or realisable amount.
Especially if you have my Bearing Base Plate epoxied to the chassis.
Also this would be a one-way process.

I've been listening to the subtle differences of chopping boards sitting under my 1210 and I have to say that I'm hearing some nice subtle improvements for a potential £30 upgrade. I hope to do some more listening over the next few days to confirm my findings.

Try inserting an inner tube for a bicycle between your chopping board and the support
then vary the amount you pump it up.

I've had several days evaluating now and I'm pleased to say that it provides a very nice upgrade for the cost and I would suggest it offers true SPPVFM.
Just a quick pciture of the deck as it now stands in Feb 2017. I have also written a small review which can be found here.

The board is a perfect fit for the footprint of the 1210. Now I have a very nice reference tonearm cable from Yannis Tome to review and assess on the 1210, the 420 litz.

The 423.5 is a corker so if the 420.5 is significantly 'better' then it will be awesome.

I did originally intend to write that review but never got chance.The 420 has been sitting on my 301 for the last ?year maybe producing lovely sounds so I guess it's time to swap them over and have a listen. I think the cost was about £700.
