...now it's a sticky (cheers John)

This is not really coming to a venue near you, unless of course you live near Minehead, but the ATP (All Tomorrows Parties) festivals are definitely worth checking out if you're into more 'underground' music. Whilst the major summer festivals are increasingly commercial ATP amongst others, are taking up the slack for more alternative sounds...

I'm off to this one, and it looks very interesting, a very eclectic mix of stuff...

Default "Thick as a Brick" to tour in 2012

This is one that some people may be interested in, I certainly am. Tickets are not on sale yet, but I will be monitoring this and will post again with ticket news.

I am DEFINITELY going to that.... I'd love to see them play the whole thing live.... Hopefully they'll do Passion Play too at some point.... I saw them do Aqualung a few years ago.

I've just noticed that Steel Panther, Def Leppard, and Motley Crue are on tour together in December, I am extremely tempted, a whole evening of sleaze!

Why is it credited as Ian Anderson rather than Jethro Tull?

I'm not entirely sure why and have been trying to get to the bottom of it myself? My thoughts are because the band will be bigger and the current Jethro Tull has new members. I have been researching here: http://www.j-tull.com/musicians/index.html but no real answers

Anyone else going to Gordon Giltrap at The Lights, Andover, next Wednesday?

Gordon Giltrap last night at the Lights Andover was a superb, intimate, concert where he played solo and displayed all his mastery of both acoustic and electric guitars. We were in row 2 and right in front of him so we could see all his fingering very clearly. GG had an easy way with the audience, regaled us with stories of his experiences and played some utterly compelling music. I can't remember the last time I felt so relaxed at a concert, especially after a day's work. Most enjoyable.
