Was due to see Reeves and Mortimer, my favourite comedy act tomorrow night but they've cancelled while Bob Mortimer recovers from a heart op. Gutted about that one.
On the upside I've just bought 2 tickets for Prong in London on the 26th March next year. I've followed them since I was a teenager. Great live metal band.
One of these days... I'm going to cut you into little pieces.

I'm Dave.
I'm off to see Walter Trout tonight at the Picturedrome in Holmfirth, a lovely venue (especially when you're staying overnight in the hotel next door!)
It will be a full house and I would imagine a very emotional show as the last time I saw Walter at the same venue 2 years ago he was not a well man. With his liver packing up, he sat down most of the gig, and could barely play. I don't think there were many in that audience who expected to see him play again. Luckily a donor was found back home in the States last year and he battled through and appears to be in rude health again.
Here's to a great night of rocking blues.
.
I like everything really. From the britpop bands like UB40 right back to classic rock, like Wings. They're only the band the Beatles could have been.

Saw a lot last year (for me anyway) but want to try a couple a month although January looking abit dry, very good guitarist Jim Kirkpatrick at local pub on Saturday night so will try for that, then White Denim and Savages in Feb, the Coral in March ,Teleman and hopefully John Cooper Clark in April, sure others will start filling the gaps.

Looking forward to listen to Steven Wilson in "DR Koncertsalen" in Copenhagen on the 5. February 2016.
"DR Koncertsalen" will hopefully do justice to Wilsons Music: Designed by Jean Nouvel (and Acoustic design by Yasuhisa Toyota) has made this Concert Hall (designed as a studio) the most expensive in the world: 1.4 Mia. taxpayed Danish kroners = app. 142 mio £. It better sound good...
English is not my native language, so any grammar & spelling errors is due to my crappy Smartphone..
