And I have three for you 'A Pocalypse Now'...

Each to their own as mark rightly stated.

Do you know if the full TV series is available, as the version I have is the shortened film cut?

I only managed to see the TV series in B&W...times were tough at Sunderland Poly

No, I worship at that altar also - could probably qoute you 90% of the dialogue - sad really. I just like ABTF because as well as being superbly made its as close to the true version of events as they could manage.

If you don't want to wait for the blu ray the 2 disc uncut edition is £8.99 on amazon

I love the smell of...etc. etc. yes I can annoy the hell out of people with that one too

I think it's the cast of 'A bridge too far' that I have trouble with, the usual suspects as it were...all a little too old to be credible WW2 paratroopers, still a very good film however as you rightly say...

My finger was hovering on the tit...but I'll just hold out for a little more, as it's a classic they're bound to release it on blu ray at some point (I'm pretty sure it was filmed so it should be possible), he said hopefully

    I've waited 25 years already
    Cheers, Will
