That's a quality film, seen it many times. Barry Norman's father directed it. Not seen the new one but I can't imagine it being as good.

Well that was a waste of time, you never saw them come off the van at the other end so don't know what he did with them, they looked in good shape. It was intimated he got the rest of the 'Hifi set up' but couldn't see what that was, could have been a Strathclyde turntable.

Looked to me like there were 2 turntables. I was surprised he did not have a clue about the ESL, and the bloke selling them didn't either even though they belonged to his old man.
It's 2018 FFS why not just google them on your phone?
