Groundhog Day (1993) stars Bill Murray and Andie MacDowell and directed by Harold Ramis. Made 5 times its budget so must be classed as a big success. I love it great premise thats been used a few times. Murray and Ramis fell out for ever over the way it was made too.

Tonight a war film in the train from 1964. Burt Lancaster, Paul Scofield and Jeanne Moreau star.

Directed by John Frankenheimer and shot in B & W, and based on the factual 1961 book Le front de l'art by Rose Valland, the art historian at the Galerie nationale du Jeu de Paume, who documented the works of art placed in storage there that had been looted by the Germans from museums and private art collections throughout France and were being sorted for shipment to Germany in World War II.

    'Wheeler Dealers' - Pontiac GTO

My second favourite Pontiac after the Firebird. It's the Jim Rockford connection that is the clincher.
    Current Lash Up:

    TEAC VRDS 701T > Sony TAE1000ESD > Krell KSA50S > JM Labs Focal Electra 926.

Jeff Bridges - not a bad watch at all, surprised me in the end

George Kennedy was my favourite 'heavy' beacuse of Thunderbolt and Lightfoot.
Freaked out as a kid about internal bleeding becaue of this film...helluva last scene.

Back up to date, thought the dialogue between Jeff Bridges and his indian Deputy in Hell Or High Water was superb.
Chris Pine acted everyone else off the screen, Bridges included I thought?

Three Days of the Condor (1975) directed by Sydney Pollack and starring Robert Redford, Faye Dunaway, Cliff Robertson, and Max von Sydow. Great political thriller this; probably still the best of type.
