    'Peep Show'

Yes, it may just be a modern re-working of 'The Odd Couple' but for me still far and away the best sitcom of the past decade. Mitchell & Webb may be knobs in real life but are brilliant in this, and 'Super Hans' has to be up there with Eric Cartman as one of the finest comic characters of all time.

Read the book years ago, it was unpleasant. No desire to see some stunted imagination 'director' make it worse.
IMO Di Caprio is right in there with Madonna as an Actor, but she looks better at least (after several beers:-).. just to add insult to injury.
Not seen the movie. I wouldn't watch it as I do not like Di Crapio. A Hollywood 'Pretty Boy' trying to act rugged? Yuk!
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Along with his playing of Reginald Christie in '10 Rillington Place', this is Attenborough at his most chilling! The needle jump during playback of the recording he made is just so exasperating to the viewer who knows the whole story.

He can play evil people very well Barry. A very good actor, and a talented family.

One of those rare films that really captures the atmosphere of the novel it is adapted from. Odd one, Graham Greene. I really like his books but can never figure out why.

Do you find it takes a couple of minutes to 'tune in' to Rab C Nesbitt, before you can really understand what they are saying? I wonder if they ever showed it in America. Would need subtitles.

Although the film ending of Brighton Rock is quite different from the ending in the book, and in a way that undermines the underlying moral. The re-make from a few years back was shockingly bad.
