Amazingly that is first time Ive seen that... A very good film, although very gory to say least. but it was a gory, tough world then. Qudos to all for making it. Di Caprio was excellent.

Read the book years ago, it was unpleasant. No desire to see some stunted imagination 'director' make it worse.
IMO Di Caprio is right in there with Madonna as an Actor, but she looks better at least (after several beers:-).. just to add insult to injury.

You think DiCaprio is a poor actor? I agree he gets miscast a lot, but when he doesn't he is really good - 'Catch Me If You Can' being a prime example.

I stand by what i said. Di caprio has made a lot of very good films, and a few poor ones. This is one of his best performances, and although its pretty gory, and by that, not my normal viewing, it was so well done, and message so clear, that its difficult not to have enjoyed and respected the film.
Guess there is no accounting for folks taste though, and within reason, its good to have diverse views.....i draw the line at Donald Trump thoughnow there is a foul and repugnant film in the making
