It was directed by Carol Reed, Orson Wells played the part of the 'Third Man', whereas Wells both directed and acted in 'Citizen Kane'. Both films have their merits, and both are rightly (IMO) regarded as being amongst the best films ever made.

I have 'The Third Man' on DVD, but not 'Citizen Kane'. Would do, if I found cheap copy. Mind you I have over 200 DVDs, which need thinning out, so have a self-imposed moratorium on any further additions.

Aye, I don't get many either now. More inclined to get a digital copy. The Boy still gets some(he has multiple hundreds). If they come with a digital copy I get that as his broadband is useless.
