My favourite is Jackie Brown which coincidentally has hardly any violence in it.

You might like that one Neil if you haven't seen it already.

Of course Vikings had to have violence in as it was "what they did", but it probably was overdone too, to grab the viewers.

Ignore me I'm just getting old
Certainly not Grant, I don't like gratuitous violence either.

Escape Plan from 2013, starring Sly Stallone and Big Arn... Excellent film this, with a fair bit of violence, although I guess it was needed for the script to work. Also roles for Sam Neil, Vinnie Jones and Vincent D'Onofrio.
    Digital library in HD.

Followed by Hotel Transylvania from 2012. Animated comedy with the voices of Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Andy Samberg, Steve Buscemi and Selena Gomez as the beautiful in pixels Mavis.

    The Graduate

Dustin Hofmann’s debut role, it looks a little dated now, but it’s a classic skewed view of ’60s middle class America. Cracking sound track by Simon and Garfunkle.

    Galaxy Quest

Excellent spoof of a certain American TV sci-fi serial.

The Great St Trinnians Train Robbery 1966.. not one of the best but still better than the remakes. Dora Bryan, Frankie Howerd, Reg Varney and George Cole among many others.... Always had a soft spot for the S T films....

Hotel Transylvania 2. 2015 with Adam Sandler voicing Dracula. From my digital library..

Dracula and his friends try to bring out the monster in his half human, half vampire grandson in order to keep Mavis from leaving the hotel.

I quiet enjoyed this, even though its way over the top and highly implausible that anyone could do what they do in this film.
