Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (2007). Johnny Depp, Geoffrey Rush, Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley, Chow Yun Fat, Jack Davenport, Bill Nighy, Jonathan Pryce & Keith Richards all star in the 3rd part of the quadrology (if such a word exists). Good fun anyways.

    Deep Impact - BBC3 (Now)

Superior disaster sci-fi film that makes Armageddon look the joke mess it is. Téa Leoni is very good in this as is the rest of the cast. Story above special effects.

If you like Téa Leoni Madame Secretary is a very good political drama set in the White House with Leoni playing the secretary of state.

It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

It's okay but I wouldn't go mad about it. As disaster films go it isn't a patch on The Poseidon Adventure. And the ending is a bit silly. They have months of notice but so many people leave it to the last minute to head out of town that the freeway gets blocked?
    Current Lash Up:

    TEAC VRDS 701T > Sony TAE1000ESD > Krell KSA50S > JM Labs Focal Electra 926.

Its a film with depth, its about fear, anxiety, relationships, hope, courage and its portrayed in an intelligent way. No film is perfect but still its, imho, a much better film than Armageddon.

I agree the original Poseidon Adventure is a good film, but its predictable in places.

It has Pamela Sue Martin, at the height of her powers, running around in hot pants.

Deep Impact simply can't compete with that.
