Time for a bit of sci fi fun Just about to spin Outlander on blu ray, i like this film, apart from the picture being superb it does have a kind of moral story to it... Yes i'm one of the 416 that has it in their collection

Philips 21/9 TV going to be used as it's 2.35:1

    I'll be back tomorrow

Me too - badly underated film ( since when was Connery bad in anything?) also it's loosley based on the classic Western 'High Noon'
    Current Lash Up:

    TEAC VRDS 701T > Sony TAE1000ESD > Krell KSA50S > JM Labs Focal Electra 926.

\Last night watched Tarantino's 'Inglorious Basterds' - Can't believe I haven't got to this sooner - pearling film, loved it.

Also watched 'Dog Soldiers' - not the werewolf effort with Sean Pertwee, this is a seventies film about a vietnam vet returning to the States where some problems ensue for him. It was released in the USA as 'Who'll Stop The Rain' to tie in with the CCR track that features in the soundtrack. Worth it if you have a liking for offbeat 70's films.

I like that film too. The busy bar scenes with the trance-like music stay in my mind as a rather good future vision.

You have to hand it to QT and the actors - it is such a cliched scene but somehow because we all know that already it then gets taken to another level.

Not sure I expressed that very well but it's late...
