Murder, My Sweet, 1944.. bluray this time...It was hard to get Mike Mazurki to tower over Dick Powell, because the former singer stood 6'2", with Mazurki--a former pro wrestler--only slightly taller at 6' 4-1/2". For many scenes, Powell had to stand in a trench.

The Fog, 1980..bluray
Although this was essentially a low budget independent movie, John Carpenter chose to shoot the movie in anamorphic widescreen Panavision. This decision gave the movie a grander feel for the viewer so this didn't seem like a low budget horror movie.
Actresses Janet Leigh and Jamie Lee Curtis are real-life mother and daughter. This is the first of only two feature films they made together - the other one being Halloween H20: 20 Years Later (1998)
When Janet Leigh is standing just outside the church door, there's an arc of fog at the top of the image. This was not intentional but was actual fog on the lens.
