    Default Greetings from Denmark

Hi there. Just found you all today.
I'm into analogue, very big DIY speakers and tubes.

Just to open one of my many "boxes" here's a picture of my new and "small" recordplayer. A just finished solid birch plywood plinth with Garrard 301, Project 10cc carbon fiber arm and Benz Ebony H cartridge.

I'm looking forward to experience the membership of "The Art of Sound" forum!

Wow. That is a nice player you've got there. I like the way you show off the the ply laminates on the edge. Nice clean design lines! Welcome

Hi Jan, welcome. That record clamp of yours looks quite heavy.

    Welcome to the forum, Jan

Quality turntable there, my friend! Respect. I love the 301, and much prefer it to the 401 even though it's said to be the superior unit. You do like your 'blond' wood in Scandinavia, don't you?

Enjoy the forum. We look forward to reading a lot more of your stuff.

    Marco.

Oh yes - a lot of blond wood! ) I like ash, birch and oak.
The 1 kg recordclamp is from Germany - bought it from a friend.

With regard to Garrard I allso have the 401. My next project is to make a similar plinth for the 401 and see what the difference is? I must admit that I was a bit surprised by the quality of the 301. It for sure is better than my old TD 124, which now has been sold.
