Hi guys, i guess i'm attempting to talk to the Admin/mod team here

I know this isn't exactly the most important thing in the universe, but is there any chance at all of getting rid of the defective GIFs we have if i can find suitable replacements?

I mean look, which do you prefer

If someone is willing to change them i'll go hunting to find as many replacements as possible for the ones that give this weird shadow.. Or am i the only person seeing things

Or am i missing something else entirely?

That would be fab! I know some of the one's we've got have 'ghosting' issues, so replacements would be great!

If you post them up here I will copy them to our storage and swap the old ones out

    Thanks Mark!

Cheers Nick, i'll see what i can do You already have 3 to go on

I doubt i'll be able to find them all but i'll do my best, that ghosting really annoys me I think it might be why some don't get used too often as others might feel the same

Good move, the ones with the "traces" were a bit worrying. I wasnt sure if they were supposed to be like that, or it was down to me.

Anyway, here are some of my favouries from my personal collection.

It's been ages, but I did get round to it. The reason it took so long was I wanted to transfer all our smilies from Photobucket to our own webspace. Unfortunately VB does not make it easy to mass move smiley links, so I had to do all 130-something manually. I updated the 'ghostly' GIF's at the same time.

Moving all the smilies now means I can see then when I view the forum from work. Photobucket and all other 'file sharing' sites are blocked at work. It's all very strict

PS. I was wondering when you'd notice - it's been sorted since the weekend
