Next week looks rubbish. Colder and windy with some rain especially for tomorrow.

Looks like we have to wait until May for some dry, sunny weather and even then it won't be very warm.

Huge clap of thunder to start the day, followed by hail battering the windows. For a second I thought a plane had crashed nearby.

Had a tornado trash a caravan not far away - caught on cctv:

Sunshine and showers (short and sharp), with a wind that makes it feels cooler than it is.

Yeah I saw that on the news earlier, a pretty big caravan that was.

In the olden days when I was a keen biker, Volvos and caravans were the enemy, due to their capacity to ruin your ride out or worse. I'm older and much calmer now, and actually feel a bit sorry for the owner of that caravan. Won't be starting any crowdfunding mind, but at least I didn't laugh.

In the coming days it looks like the winds will be less severe, but a fair bit cooler than it ought to be.

Rain, hail, sleet, gales, thunder, lightning - and then a bit of sunshine in the late afternoon.

Properly chilly too. No warmer than it was in January.
