Do you own the Mike New bearing? I'm not so sure that the platter will work wih your Funk Firm spin bearing. You might want to check.

If a. Ike New platter fits a standard bearing, it will work on a spin, as it has the same geometry.

Yeah, Funk used a Mike New bearing to 'design' their one so it'll be fine. I owned the one they used

They may have used one in the design process, but AK told me the MN geometry did not match the original technics in the area the platter sits. When I had both, I never bothered to measure them to see if it was true.Originally Posted by mikeyb

Anyway, getting hold of a Mike New platter is going to be a challenge, IMHO.
