    Default Caiman SEG output voltage

    Hello,

anybody ever bothered to measure the real SEG output voltage? I can tell quite a difference switching source from the DAC to the CD player and wondering if there is anything that can be done to raise the output level a bit

    Thank you

According to the manual it's 2Vrms output.

Think that you can adjust the volume by taking the volume knob off and turning to get more volume.

Not sure though if this purely for the headphone output.

Contact Stan Beresford for more info.

I've never heard of a volume control where you have to take the knob off to adjust it, how strange!

It's a gain screw behind the knob I think. Long time since I owned one mind you so I might be wrong.
