I would like to see the arm base fitting strengthened. The arm base flange only 'nips' a limited area of the turntable chassis.

You will need to build that up a fair bit but more mass maybe a good thing. I know some of the Lenco GL75 enthusiasts stack double platters to get a bit of mass and height. Just need to engineer a nice long spindle then?

I have no idea - there was only mention of arm height, not of arm mounting.

Got the Tonearm and Rest positionally mounted where they need to be, and drawn up the required Arm Board to replace the crappy injection moulded plastic thing on the TT - it will be 6mm thick black acrylic...
