Default SEG output sometimes cuts out?

Hi all Stan Fans. Occasionally, the above happens. It’s instantly cured by switching the Dorado off and on. Anyone else have this issue?

Nope not me, couple of years use and never missed a beat, primarily USB in from RPi /Picoreplayer/LMS streamer, but also Optical from TV occasionally.

Is it on all connections, which ones are you using?

P.S. It did take a while to sort the correct Picoreplayer settings for correct SEG USB signal, but that was no fault of the Caimen.

Thanks for replying! It’s only on the optical input, from my Node 100 ?

Do you know which version of the firmware you got? It is normally written on a strip of paper on the firmware chip.

Hi Stan. Thanks for the personal reply! I think the last chip I got from you was 30? It was just around the time of the Dorado 2 coming out- I’ve got the original Dorado.

Going to watch this with avid interest.
Both my units have a similar problem and I came on here to see if there's a solution.
Sure enough, the power supply seems to the additional problem as I'd switched the units off n on and nothing happened. Doing it to the power supply fixed it instantly.
Mind you I've had to change from the 15v option to 12v on both supplies as the red light never went over to blue to signify it was charged up.

Still happening for me. I did think maybe it was a loose optical connection from my node, but it’s not. Any ideas Stan?
