    Default Jazz master tape copies

Jonathan Horwich at IPI has been making jazz recordings for decades. He has had access to number of 1/2 inch stereo masters for artists like Oscar Peterson, Clifford Jordan, Patricia Barber etc

    https://www.internationalphonographinc.com/

Jonathan is nearing retirement in the next few years and is starting to make direct copies off the original masters from his archive of tapes ("preservation copies"). The originals will be returned to the studios in due course.

I have just ordered a 3 tape preservation copy of Clifford Jordan, but will be ordering the same of his Oscar Peterson tapes.

I already have number of Jonathan's tapes and the SQ is great and the packaging excellent. You can email Jonathan and join his email list. He is planning to issue the preservation copies over a period of time. So, if you like your jazz, you might be interested.
