    Default FS:Bastani Atlas Subwoofers

I have a pair of these subs for sale. The have 15" Bastani drivers (500 euros a pair) Titan plate amps (200 euros each) and the cabinets are made from 23mm baltic birch ply finished with danish oil. I bought these from Clive Meakins and they are the very same ones which feature in his review of the Atlas system here:

    http://www.enjoythemusic.com/superio...anis_atlas.htm

    They are excellent condition.

I'm looking for £485 for the pair.

Blimey is it that long since I advertised these! They didn't sell and they have been sat in my box room gathering dust. To move them I'll accept £250. The plate amps alone are worth more than that.

    Ian,

    two questions:

    a) can these be run as single subwoofers?

    b) would you be willing to split them?

No reason why you can't use one on its own. However I need to think about whether they are more attractive as a pair . . .

    Default Shipping problem

I'd love these, but shipping would be pricy I'd guess?
Would add depth to my full-rangers. (Ocellia Calliopes)
Anyone passing Huddersfield coming near Bristol soon?

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

Have you considered or tried Anyvan? I've used them before to move bulky items and been delighted by both the service and the price.
