Default Vantage Vault turntable - anyone heard of it?

Leafing through an eighties hi-fi magazine's buying guide the other night, I spotted something I remember intriguing me at the time when I bought the magazine new. In the turntable section of the buying guide at the back was listed a Vantage Vault turntable, with a retail price of £35,000!

Anyone know anything about this mythical beast? I've never heard of it since.

in all the years since the HFC listing, I have never seen a photo or article. I have looked through all my archive of UK and US mags....and zilch. It cant be a myth as its listed and I am sure that I have seen an image....something akin to a classic high mass gold and brass monster.....maybe
