Looks like it is working, in that if I connect to it on my Mac a seemingly infinite download occurs, and the FLAC icon appears. Does anyone have advice about what software to use to get it to play on an iMac? Configuration?

VLC media Player streams it in Windows, so I guess it will in OSX.

Go Media|Network Stream and paste in the URL.

    http://radio.cesnet.cz:8000/cro-d-dur.flac

The Stream is an OGG FLAC - FLAC in an OGG container, but don't ask me what that means

Indeed it does seem to work, as checked in VLC on both a PC and an iMac. Perhaps a good way of racking up a high download bill with your ISP - or at least it could be for me.

Just noticed this wonderful service no longer works.

does anyone know anything? have they discontinued FLAC streaming?

I cannot access the flac stream either. I have tried both the VLC and Foobar players which would formerly handle the format.

Well yes. Or do I mean "Well, yes."?

Of late I have not contributed much to any forum. I visit a number from time to time a see the same issues going round in the same circles!

    Nothing new under the sun?

And I hope you too are well, Marco.
