    Default HDCD on a Mac

I've read some bits here and there about using HDCD discs/rips on a pc, but not so much on a mac. Does anyone have a definitive idea of how to do it?

I understand it's not possible with my current gear as I use an Airport Express, so what gear would I need, and how would I rip, and then encode?

Also, is the principle in using HDCD the same as DVD-A?

    Thanks

Run dbPoweramp under Virtual PC (you'll need to have the DSP package installed).

Stream to a Squeezebox, using the Mac version of SBS or run a Touch as a standalone with a USB HDD attached.

Or if you were feeling more flush then a Sonos system.
