I resisted buying a CD player till 1991. The day I bought my new Gyrodec I also bought a 2nd hand one of these for £150 from the same shop - Jack Lawson's place in Glasgow. I went from there to Tower Records (I think) & got a heap of Zappa stuff that wasn't available on vinyl (You Can't Do That On Stage Anymore series) & Carly Simon's Greatest Hits for my wife!!
