For Sale: Naim NA CD3 Cd Player + Remote + Puck

Naim NACD3 Cd player in excellent physical condition, with puck and remote, was in storage...took it out and there's an issue...after 1 minute of playing Cd, a white noise can be heard in the background. Sold as spares repairs, could be an easy fix...but I haven't got the time to sort. Philips TDA1541A-S1 (Single / Double Crown)

I've had a look under the bonnet, and I can't see any obvious problems.....I handle my kit with care, in Dry storage...I'm stumped!
As for Naim support, I'd say it would be pretty costly..and they would prefer me to buy one of their new £2K CDP
