Sony DVP NS900V SACD PLAYER (QS SERIES)
Well-built and cheap intro to SACD. alas no remote. £45 + p&p
QS Series, so build quality is good.Plays SACDs, CDs, CD-r, DVD
Couple of pin-head marks on front fascia. Top has marks at the back so not pristine but mechanically / electronically totally sound.
Ability to switch off video circuits and the display are both nice touches for audio-only replay. Gold phonos sockets around the back
Phones with variable sound level for late night listening.
Sound? Not bright nor sharp like many CD spinners, quite analogue really.
Can take more pics if you need 'em.

I use one of these into a Little Dot iii in my second headphone system. Agree about the sound, lovely.

Thanks Lawrence - I know a lot of folks don't like multi-disc machines, but this one has a lot more audio in its DNA, with a bit of DVD tacked on, which we choose to ignore
now definitely SOLD, many thanks Brook.

Just remembered I bought a Denon 3910 multi disk player to replace this. Didn't like it at all, sold it on and kept this. Some people really rate the Denon.
