Default SD Acpustics SD1's Bass unit Mystery

Hi all, I'm in the process of refurbishing my SD1's after 4 years of them being in storage.
Managed to get foam surrounds for the midrange units, but come to a head with the 10' bass ...does anyone know what they are...?
Audax I reckon, but numbers on rear don't correspond to anything..help.....

You can always measure the “vital statistics” of the foam and order off those, if you don’t find the ID of the bass unit. The foam sellers usually print the measurements Ann’s are usually helpful if you need assistance. I’ve ordered foams for rare speakers this way and been fine

They are Audax. I doubt anybody makes surrounds specifically for them, but there should be generic items available.

Plenty of Chinese sellers offering them, like this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1pc-Foam-...X0CKbnU2o4YDIw

I can vouch for the Aussie seller on EBay. I and mates have had good service and products from him.

Thanks for the heads up guys...the guy who's doing the surrounds usually gets his foams/paper/felt from different OEMs , better match n fit...he was telling me that Tannoy don't actually make every component of say a HPD 12' speaker...paper comes from one source surrounds from another and chassis from someone else...although he did say that Tannoy, used to do their own coils ..but he's not sure whether they do now...
