    Default Hello from Kralk Audio

Hello everybody and thank you for letting me join this fine forum of yours,
Ive been building speakers since the age of 12, im now 56, still learning as the years
go by but i still try to stick to old school design if i can as it seems to yield better results
for the way i work, im just a one man company and i do everything i can to keep costs down
without skimping on quality, i set up Kralk Audio in 2012 to bring my designs to the public
most were used in studios up until then and it was suggested that i should do this as a living,
6 years later and im still going so i must be getting something right,
The new TDB range runs along side of my higher end stuff and gives everyone a chance
to be able to afford good quality speakers at a reasonable cost, the customer can add or takeaway
items in the TDB range to suit their needs, for instance if you dont require speaker grills you
dont have to pay for them so its a range that puts the customer in charge,
I dont really get much time to go on forums but i will do the best i can to interact.

    Thanks for having me

    Regards

    Alan

Hi Alan, welcome to the forum

I was very impressed with your speakers at Cranage, There's nothing at the price even remotely competitive. And I'm very fussy about speakers.

Were the big ones in the MCRU room with the Volt bass driver yours as well? They were also outstanding.
    Current Lash Up:

    TEAC VRDS 701T > Sony TAE1000ESD > Krell KSA50S > JM Labs Focal Electra 926.

Very Interested in the 10" jobbies you make Alan, although the names escape me.

    Welcome!

I had a look on your site. Very nice indeed.

10” jobbies that you make - I’m sure there’s a toilet humour joke in there somewhere just waiting to happen.

Means a different thing in the midlands than in Scotland.

Your room at Carnage was great - one of the best of the show.

Do you have any plans for active speakers?

Your lower price speakers look amazing value. In fact all your speakers do. And your stands seem to defy economics. Are you using a time machine to go back to the 80s and get them made? Seriously.... Well done on bringing some great value kit to the market. You deserve to be rushed off your feet. I’ll be saving hard and being extra nice to my missus in the run up to Christmas. Hopefully Santa will be bringing me some Kralk.
