Yes, I went for pen type and tobacco blend to see if I like the feeling (smoking as I type )

Mac72, the tobacco taste stuff doesn't. it tastes like stale dumps scrounged from the ashtray.
Too weak for that tank, up it to 6mg, or even 9mg. Also I prefer MTL, feels more like smoking.

Wow, a couple a day, I have a couple for breakfast...

Definitely do it - if you can find your hit then the benefits are huge

I went for a cheap option - an iClear 16 starter kit.
I figured if I didn't make too much of a ritual of it with fancy (and expensive) tanks and such it would be easier to give up.

Yes the vaping , I’ve now been referred to a specialist!
I think I was in denial and blaming everything but the vape but now I think about it the problems started when I went from the pen type to the current beast .
Stupidly I’ve started smoking again today but my breathlessness has already decreased.

Some people do seem to have an intolerance to PG or VG, pretty rare though. What ratios were you using?

The gamuccI cigarette type are very good. I refill them and they last for ages The menthol is the cleanest imo. I get a hit but no chest issues etc. Trouble is the company has stopped I think. Hoping they restart as they are best by margin. Ive got a big stock and can source batteries that fit

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

Vaping is as bad as Hi-Fi. No end of posh gear about at fancy prices, but a cheapie will get you going and you can revise your wants later if need be.
Agree with all the above - tried a few flavours but found most of them vile.
I was lucky to find a relatively mild flavour off the bat and have stuck with it = Hangsen Tobacco 12mg/ml. Not too strong either so should be easier to step back to 6mg/ml .... and then nowt.

Also doing my best to avoid getting caught up in the fancy tanks and souped up battery packs and malarky ... like HiFi - keep it simple

The vape flavour is not a really crucial thing as long as it's not revolting. I get on OK with the tobacco one, but use menthol mostly. It's the effect that counts. I find there's not a substantial 'hit' like you get from the first fag of the day, but the noticeable thing for me is not feeling the need to light up a cigarette. After a couple of days, you settle into using the vape.
