Default NOS Shure M55e with Original M55 stylus(unused) and Jico SAS stylus

A rare boxed Shure M55 cartridge with unused NOS original Shure stylus.

The cartridge has been used for around 60 hours with a Jico SAS cartridge which is also for sale. This has a boron cantilever with micro ridge SAS diamond/ Fabulous sound and 50 hours use and is a superb upgrade to the Shure M55 cartridge. Competes favourably with the best MM cartridges available.

I would like £70 (Including delivery) for the Shure cartridge and NOS stylus.

I would like £90 for the Jico SAS stylus incl delivery.

I can do the whole lot together for £150 including delivery

That is a great sounding combination when bought as a bundle.

I doubt if this combination of stuff will ever come up for sale again as the NOS Shure stylus which is unused is even rarer to get hold of than a boron cantilever jico SAS stylus.

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

Yes it is a surprisingly good combination Mike and for the money nothing comes anywhere near it. You would have to spend £400-500 to get a better MM set up. It even runs my 2M Black close and that is saying something!
