I'm John.
Still have my 80s Cambridge Audio C50/A50 which I bought new in 87 (but out on loan at the mo).
Main system is MasterSound PHL5 Pre feeding Icon Audio MB845 SE (mk1) monos. Second system has a Pioneer SA-500A though its away having some TLC so currently have a Leak stereo 30+ on loan.
Still a baby in hi-fi terms.
My main amp is an EAR 834 integrated just serviced by Mr T.de.P himself and sounding mighty fine.
I've recently purchased a Marantz PM4 which is currently off to have its top cover powder coated in a nice vintage satin black leatherette finish. Just awaiting samples...
That's all I have, sort of same thing as I say to the wife...

I'm Eamonn.
I use an Accuphase E470 driving Harbeth SHL5+ anniversaries... before that I had the E350 and will probably always stick with the brand, as long as I can afford it that is.

I'm Dennis.
A few years ago I spoke to a guy called Robin at ATC and he measured the distortion of a class A O/P stage to determine its nature.
I was taught that class A eliminated even harmonics which class B tends to have because of crossover distortion.
Robin found class A exhibiting both odd and even, to some extent.
I can't believe it myself but I am down to just one amp now, Supernait 2
There was a time, not long ago, that I had a bit of a collection of amps but thought if I sell all of them, apart from one, they would pay for the one amp with quite a lot of change left over so that's what I did. With the change left I got a nice cd player and dac...bargain
I certainly do not miss the 'collection' and feel quite 'clean' owning just the one amp now

I'm Clive.
Mainly through laziness when it comes to selling gear, I currently have too many (according to Mrs G that is).

EAR 861
Radford STA15 III
Leak ??? (the early one with a germanium transistor)
The EAR is the main workhorse although the Radford could well take its place after some restoration work.
They have all, apart from the Leak, been acquired to try to find the perfect amp to drive Tannoy 15" Monitor Reds in GRF Corner Horn cabinets. All I have discovered so far is that the number of watts is irrelevant, as is the valve type. PP is better than SE and early results from the Radford seem to indicate that transformers are an important factor.
