That should reach some very realistic live concert volume levels and dynamic range!

Does the WAF stand for Wife Acceptance Factor?

    Just the bare minimum:

Main system - Radford STA25 MkIII, currently standing in for Radford STA100 that's in the final stages of restoration at Radford Revival.
Study - Pass Aleph 'M' clone

I also have a 90w tripath based chip amp done by Duncan 'tubehunter' which is a handy stand-in in emergencies.

NOT a collector in any shape or form - counting up cartridges I have 11 mono and stereo cartridges mounted up but they all have a role to play between the TD124 in the main system and 401 in the study.

Hmm, sometimes here I feel like I am still on my first bicycle with stabalisers!

My main system I have a 1990s Audiolab 8000A that I have owned since new. Now recapped and upgraded to stage 2. And used in conjunction with a Yamaha DSP-E800 DSP (also bought new, so that must be over 20 years old now too!!).

And in my second system I have a later "grey" Audiolab 8000A (late 1990/ early 2000s??).

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

I've got rid of a fair few over the past year so I've lost track a bit.

Power amps I've got a Krell KSA50s, a Linn LK100 and the Firebottle Dulci (EL84 SECA).

Integrateds, I am down to one, an XTZ A100 that I use in the TV system.

And Receivers, a Harmon Kardon HK930 and a Sony 5 channel AV amp, no idea of the designation but it isn't a fancy one.

Might be some others stashed away upstairs that I forgot about but I don't think so.
    Current Lash Up:

    TEAC VRDS 701T > Sony TAE1000ESD > Krell KSA50S > JM Labs Focal Electra 926.

Oh yeah I have a Marantz integrated, forget the model but it is bronze coloured and has VU meters. That's been out on loan since 1992 so I'm probably not going to get it back.

Currently using a Wyred 4 Sound mINT integrated with built in DAC - very good little amp with loads of power and suits my current (and recurring) box reduction phase. When in my valve phase I've had two Ming Da Piccolos over the years which I really like and am tempted to go back to since I've just completed a 4 Jordan Eikona per side TL which has 92dB sensitivity. The Jordan/Ming Da combination has always been a very satisfying combination to my ears.
