Thanks Rob. I was reading over your words in a previous post and they too are very special and heartfelt. It's great to have a thread such as this to show how caring and thoughtful we can be.

Absolutely Ian. I mean people often think we (men) can't or just wont show certain sides but thats not true in my experience.

It's not always easy being a man which seems to be hidden under the radar, but I've seen a lot of love shown, shared and expressed here which is what makes this place a bit special to me and why I'm here, hifi and music aside

I have 3 children ( That I know of ) due to family upheaval I only see my eldest daughter , Only seen the other 2 once since 2003
    ( Divorce ) at my eldest's wedding

I was invited out for a meal however I refused on the grounds of being ripped off price wise , I requested a home cooked meal or BBQ instead , will be going at 5.30pm for my farthers day dinner ,

I have two boys and a daughter, all now in their 30's. Lovely present and homemade card from daughter (she's a talented artist) and texts from the lads to explain they forgot to post the cards - about par for the course but I love them all

I would give anything for my dad to still be here! So I could spoil him with a slap up lunch.

I was surprised this morning with a Green & Blacks selection box and. Nice bottle of Brouilly, my favourite wine. Also my two daughters have managed not to argue with each other.......yet.
