I see that Dixons Carphone have been hacked in a notification on my online banking homepage.

Im getting a bit fed up with seeing that more personal data has been stolen. I use these people to buy phones and Im beginning to think there is no way any business organisations can keep our data safe.

It could be an inside job or anything. You cant tell me that a bunch of minumum wage cheesed off workers are bothered about data breaches. Half the companies out there seem to sell our data on anyway.

Im not overly worried about my data as Ive used a debit card and pin. The world and his wife seem to know my address/email for junk mail so I dont really worry too much about these things.

Im just getting cheesed off that they get all this info from us and cant protect it. Whats the point me being careful if they just get hacked anyway? Do we worry too much about identity theft and what can the hackers do with a million credit card numbers as if I couldnt imagine? It must be fairly serious if a warning has been issued.
