Aside from the dodgy aesthetic, sandals are no use whatsoever if you need to kick someone or have it away on your toes.

It has become a trend here in the US, that young men wear their pants down below their arse! No kidding, it started to be cool to wear your jeans low, and show off the tops of your boxers. But as the trend continued now they have their ass completely out of their pants! It looks completely ridiculous. And many towns are outlawing this behavior as indecent exposure, and many stores refuse to serve them. But I know the more people complain, the more they want to do it, if people stopped talking about it the fad would pass. No young lady is impressed by such a sight, how are you going to break into a run if someone gets after you? And people are literally laughing at you! I just don’t get it. We enjoy many freedoms here, but some have to push it to the ridiculous. Whenever I see someone with their pants below their ass, my first thought is, “how stupid!”, why would looking stupid be popular? They must actually be stupid.

I'm Dominic.
Seeing as like what we is talking about footwear, what opinions are there here about Crocs?
I wouldn't be seen dead in sandals, trainers make my feet perspire like mad, so I wear crocs with lots of lovely holes so my feet get plenty of ventilation.
Don't give a toss if they are a fashion disaster either

I'm Mark.
I have seen some of these young men with their trousers falling down, a most unwholesome sight! Much better for young ladies to wear jeans with their arses hanging out? That would be more sensible. Not the older ladies though, that would be silly and very unattractive

My Crocs were really handy (or should that be footy) for just wondering out into the garden and garage. Also they where great for pressure-washing the patio. Dog ate them, the only bloddy shoes it has ever eating. Only cost me £4 in Asda sometime in the early 2000s and where over 10 years old, so not as if I hadn’t had my money’s worth out of them. Not something I would go out in public in however.

"Crocs" are nothing more than plastic/rubber sandals anyway. Comfortable, waterproof - but godamn ugly!
