I agree. My gut feeling says England will win (if Southgate chooses the right team), but it might well be after some more 'squeaky bum' time, after extra time, and possibly, penalties!

I really don’t think England will progress to the next round.
There will be a lot of disappointed people - again, but they just don’t seem to be at the same level as everybody else.

    That's the spirit!

On a serious note, I hate playing Sweden. They are definitely our bogey team. I wouldn't be surprised if they knock us out today. Fingers, toes, arms, legs are all crossed (which is making it difficult to get around)

    COME ON ENGLAND!!

I have taken a step back from watching this last week. All the nonsense with Japan and Poland / Senegal , got on my pip.
Great to see Brazil getting theirs , and Uruguay!!

Think I'll keep predicting England defeats, I'm so shite at this... Thankfully.
Can't believe it they looked so assured.

Well that was certainly the confident two-nil victory I was hoping for. Another performance of that standard and we're in the final, no doubt about it.

This week my plan was to get out on the bike during this match, it's not often you get the roads all to yourself. So glad I didn't.

A good clean win by a comfortable and assured looking England, and well deserved. Bike can wait till tomorrow, when all the football-loving dickheads will be back on the roads, determined to ruin my day.
I just dropped in, to see what condition my condition was in

T/T: Inspire Monarch, X200 tonearm, Ortofon Quintet Blue. Phono: Project Tube Box CD: Marantz CD6006 (UK Edition); Amp: Musical Fidelity A5 Integrated.
Speakers: Zu Omen Def, REL T9i subwoofer. Cables: Atlas Equator interconnects, Atlas Hyper 3.0 speaker cables

    T'other system:
Echo Dot, Amptastic Mini One,Arcam A75 integrated, Celestion 5's, BK XLS-200 DF

    A/V:
LG 55" OLED, Panasonic Blu Ray, Sony a/v amp, MA Radius speakers, REL Storm sub

Forget the past, it's gone. And don't worry about the future, it doesn't exist. There is only NOW.
