    Default Yamaha CA-1010 audio capacitors

Well I thought I’d open up this beauty in order to get the audio capacitors values ( I’ve done so before on British amps ) but it all looks a little overwhelming
Can anyone tell me where I should be looking?
It is in perfect working order.

On the other hand, if you really wanted to tackle it, I would get hold of a circuit diagram first.
My thoughts exactly, lid is back on already.

Well looking at the service manual it doesn't look too daunting.

If you had a week with nothing else to do.

Saw that too Mike , it’s clearly nothing like the straight forward Brit amps I’ve done before.
    Cheers

Those look like quality Japanese caps to me, like those black Nippon Chemicon. If there is no bulging or leaking I bet they will still be good.

All the caps are in A1 condition ( thankfully) especially those big power caps you mentioned.

Leave well alone then and enjoy.

If the caps are gone you will notice at higher volumes, a harsh and ragged sound will ensue.
