Default For sale : Doge 8 valve pre with valve stage

I have owned this pre for several years and enjoyed my time with it and have found it to be every bit as good as the reviews suggest.
I used it with quad power amps but I imagine it would work equally well with many other designs.
Having bought a valve integrated I am now selling this to fund other items on my wish list!
The amplifier is in good cosmetic condition and is working well.
It has a polished stainless steel face plate with aluminium side pieces and looks very smart, it is also very substantially built.
I do have the original all metal remote control but it became temperamental some time back and I haven't used it since, however I have spoken to the manufacturer who tell me that they can supply a new replacement which is identical in appearance to the original.
I would like £525 for the amp preferably to be collected from Burnley, Lancashire as I don't have the original box. However I would consider posting within the UK at cost.

If this sounds anything like as good as the Doge 6 CDP, and I think it will, it'll be a great buy.

I was going to say exactly that. I am very much a vinyl man but I couldn't do without my Doge 6 CDP.

    Hi Laurence.

Did you buy this new or used a couple of years ago ? If used how old is it now ?
Also has it still got the original valves fitted ? or upgraded better quality ones ,
Do you know the price of a replacemant remote ?

    Thanks

Morning, I bought it used so cannot say exactly how old it is.
It has had new/upgraded valves, I will open it up and check the brand.
Doge say a new remote is $65 plus shipping or a drop in replacement board is $20 plus shipping from China.
