TONE systems
I've been reading with quite some interest the subject of TONE on various guitar forums where people use various caps, leads etc to get a specific vintage sound. Has anyone tried this on a specific hifi system? I've kinda got a prototype system on the go. This is based around a rewired pair & recapped pair of celestion ditton 15 speakers, tinned Duelund speaker, tonerm is my SME 3012 but using an original SME tonearm lead from the 70's and a Shure V 15 mk 3 and hyper eliptical stylus. The sound is remarkably good. Anyone tried something similar?
