Thanks for that, but whatever you think of whether cables can make a difference or not he is looking a bit further up the tree than that.
No worries. I have no problem with other people spending lots of money on cables.
However, I have found very little difference in performance across XLR cables compared to unbalanced cables. I tried several expensive XLRs in my system and they all went back.
