    Those little flying turds are sneaky, silent and they absolutely won't give up until either they have your blood or you splat them. Even having your shirt on won't give you that much protection either - they are equipped to bite through a horse's hide after all.

    For me they sit alongside wasps under the "what's the point of them" category.

    25.5 degC indoors here, and I'm enjoying a nice cool beer. Goodness knows what it is outside - spent 5 hours at a bootsale this morning and it was damned hot!
