Surprisingly bright and sunny in the Irish Midlands at the moment. Don’t worry, though, I’m sure it’ll be back to grey and dreary before long.

Pished down all last night, which was most welcome, but today has been mostly lovely and sunny, and quite warm at 18°C

It's been hazy and mostly cloudy here, but moderately bright. Mild at 21C though. Suits me fine.

Been pissistantly raining for most of the day here, so I gave myself an early dart. Had a pub lunch with my daughter and now I'm nodding off on the sofa. Life is so hectic I really don't know how I cope.

I know the feeling mate. I've had to get out of my chair at least twice today.

I've got up off the chair only once to make some lunch. Planning to get up twice more, once to go to the Chinese and once to go to the offey. That's about the maximum number of times I like to move about on a Saturday.

What's the best one near you, then? After leaving your place the last few times I went to quite a good (small) takeaway. I think it was the Canton Express in Hartshill Road. Ever used that one? Their sweet and sour chicken is rather good!

Seems like it's been there for years.
