Yeah I will be working at Christmas and it will be interesting to see who comes up to a hotel.
I suppose its all laid on for them so it makes some sense. The food will be good quality and it saves all the faffing about cooking it themselves.
Im trying to get into the spirit of christmas and I will quite enjoy being part of it at work

New year's Eve is a bit crap everywhere these days, has been since 2000. Last went out NYE about 5 years ago, all the pubs were dead. Most people seem to have small gatherings or parties at home, and if you lose touch with folk (as I have) you end up spending it on your Bill.
So this year it'll be with a couple of my oldest friends again, and that's fine with me. As my birthday is Jan 1st, I have a few pressies to look forward to.
